Family Living Homes

mother

Family Living Homes gives individuals with unique needs the opportunity to live in a caring, supportive household. We welcome applications from persons that would like to provide a secure, stable environment to an individual with unique needs. Applicants can be male or female, single, married or living together.

Individuals supported in Family Living Homes include children and adults with a wide variety of needs and challenges. These homes enrich the lives of individuals by offering another residential living option.

Families who open their hearts and homes benefit from the unique gifts and talents the individual brings to the relationship, a new friend and companion, and the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life.

Individual needs and preferences are considered when making the decision to become a Family Living Home. The process of welcoming an individual with unique needs includes a transition time where the family and the individual get to know each other. A placement will not be made unless it is a good fit for all parties involved. A living allowance is provided to meet the expense of personal care items and to help with basic housing costs.
