In-Home Services

In-home Services are provided on a referral basis from Crawford County Human Services.

Supervised Visitation


Mother and childCFC is committed to assisting families through supporting parent interaction with children during a difficult time.  We provide trained observation and objectivity for evaluations, which encourage positive interaction for parents focused on meeting the needs of children who require a safe and nurturing environment. Visit time is determined by the courts or Children and Youth Services

Parenting/Homemaking Services


father-childEmphasis is on parent education and interaction. Our staff will work with the parent to model and teach homemaking and parenting skills to families with children at-risk. We provide basic training in nutrition, age appropriate discipline, age appropriate communication, personal hygiene, housekeeping and budgeting to meet the needs of the child and family. 

Mentoring Program


mentoreThe mentoring program is designed to promote self-esteem, family involvement and interaction, community awareness, and goal setting among at-risk youth. CFC fulfills court ordered hours with the child, offering guidance in social skills, self-confidence, education, role-modeling, and community involvement.


In-Home Counseling


family_closeThe In-Home Counseling program provides intensive counseling services to children and/or their families. Common issues addressed include: Anger Management, Anxiety and Depression, Alcohol and Drug Abuse, Child Discipline Techniques, Couples Conflicts, Delinquent behaviors such as violence, gang activity, etc., Grief and Loss, Improving School Attendance, and Parent/Child Conflicts.

Family Behavior Therapy


CFC is partnering with Crawford County Drug and Alcohol Commission (CCDAC) to provide a research based approach, Family Behavior Therapy (FBT), to families with substance abuse issues and who are involved with Crawford County Children and Youth Services.  FBT is a cost-effective intervention approach using innovative, easily learned, behavioral therapies to treat substance abuse and associated problems within the family context.
